Turck capacitive sensors work on the principle of non-contact, isolated and wear-free detection, and reliably detect both electrically conductive and non-conductive materials — ideal for applications where the inductive principle fails (distance/position, bending strength, thickness, level control, eccentricity, concentricity, deformation, wear, vibration). Three series are offered: BC (the standard, wide range of connection and housing options), BCF (the problem solver for highly viscous media and conductive surface coatings with improved EMC safety), and BCC (the specialist, highly EMC/ESD immune with unchanged switching distance even when mounted in metal pipes, suited for detecting smallest pallets).
